Johansson was next seen in Just Cause (1996), however the film Manny & Lo 1996 that gave her her breakthrough. The movie is about two young girls that are running away. For The Horse Whisperer, Johansson as a teen victim of an incredibly tragic accident. Her role in Ghost World brought her more notoriety as the infamous teenager Rebecca.
